Hello, Hello Everyone!!
I’m happy to be sharing with you all my journey for the past few weeks. As you all know were all in this quarantine stage which may feel a bit strange. I’ve had days where I’ve just felt like sleeping and staying in bed all day or days where junk food was literally my dinner. When THIS Quarantine all started, I thought to myself WHY why is this happening now. What is happening in the world? I always had so many questions to ask and yet I still don’t know the answer to most. What I do know is that this quarantine time is for something special. God is not allowing this time of rest for nothing. I’ve grown into this time of realizing that I need to appreciate every hour in a day and use it wisely. Every ounce, minute, and hour is something special and I cannot take that for granted or use it to a disadvantage. So in this time of need or worry, instead of stressing or feeling like the world is going to end, I’m using it as an advantage and in this time I am keeping myself productive. I am constantly taking virtual dance classes, challenging myself with advanced ballet classes, reading more, stretching/yoga, deep breathing, building my faith in God, waking up early, reassessing my goals, and building upon my goals.
During this quarantine we also should self motivate ourselves. No matter the case of feeling, we should keep ourselves on a high level. Something that keeps me motivated is starting my day off with a nice heart healthy and full breakfast. Cooking some scrambled eggs with sausage or turkey bacon and yogurt or toast always boost my immune system and soon after I’m ready to start the day. Eggs have lots of protein and is good for energy. If your someone who prefers smoothies instead of whipping up some food, then smoothies can be am alternative for you. My inspiration for smoothies came from Pinterest and every time my sister made them. The mango’s and pineapples lit my eyes up and instantly want to try. So pinterest is the source for any DIY smoothing making!
What also keeps me motivated is dance. A bunch of people all around the world had started virtual Instagram Live classes and that’s so wonderful to me. I’ve had the privilege of taking ballet classes from company’s everywhere and from principles or soloist and that is the best thing to me. I can’t thank everyone of PA Ballet and Tiler Peck and all of tremendous amount of ballet company’s for putting there ballet classes online for everyone to take. It’s a great opportunity.
I have build upon my goal setting and have held myself accountable for all goals written on my board. One goal is reading. I’m honestly not a book nerd AT ALL. But I made a decision to set reading as a goal and it has helped me a lot. Reading has calmed and helped me in my mental state. I’m taking baby steps and reading each day at least 30 minutes.
These are just a few exercises I’ve been taking on a weekly basis, it helps with stability, productivity, setting standards, and motivation. I hope this helos you guys, you don’t have to follow this exact guildeline but it’s something to look after.
Remember God has your back and if anything look and pray to him! He answer prayers and he loves you so much!
Thank you guys and I will see you next time! 🙂
