Rejection Overload
Needed Confidence
Happy Monday! Today I will be talking about Rejection. Rejection is basically when someone says No. No is never an answer you want to hear from a judge or company. It literally hurts but I’ve come across so many that I’ve realized how I’ve overcome and how it has changed my mindset in dealing with it. Truly, rejection feels like someone knocking you down to the ground with a rock and yet, I’ve felt like that before when I’ve auditioned for something really huge and still getting a no. I’ve been able to calm myself down and challenge my mind to think of better things instead of the bad. Just knowing that the audition was an opportunity and it may or may not break you is something I’ve looked to it as. Also goals are a big Do because goals are what keep us as humans motivated and gradually taking step by step in goals will gradually take you a step closer to getting a yes than a no. I’ve come a long ways on this entertainment industry and hey I still haven’t “made it” yet because rejection is always there. I’ve always got to know to be prepared because those casting directors or people of importance are always watching you. I’ve always looked to it as a first but not the last and a rejection as a lesson and an audition as a mission and soon again rejection won’t be rejection, it will be my blessing.
Have a great week everyone!
